Planet Power

This show is a fun and interactive way for children to learn about renewable energy. With the help of video, live hosts will take the audience through the process of how energy travels from its source into the home. Starting with a common household appliance, we will follow the electrical current to two different energy sources: wind and solar. The action of the show will alternate between video elements and the live host explaining the details of each different source and the process of renewable power generation. Victor is the science guy and Electra is a circus artist that delivers her lines from different circus equipment. The audience becomes aware of how much energy they use in a regular day and how they are responsible for the amount they consume. Planet power has played at the CNE grounds at The Kids World of Energy Festival and at HarbourKids festival at Toronto's Harbourfront centre.
